Blenkhorns Auto Recyclers purchase damaged late model cars and trucks from insurance companies. Once the vehicle arrives at our yard, one of our inventory staff will inspect it and enter a worksheet into the Hollander computer system with all the parts available for resale. After the vehicle is inventoried, it will be put into one of our two dismantling shops, motor will be started tested and then drain of all fluids using the latest equipment for Oil, Freon, Gasoline, and Preston recycling, then it will be dismantled of all recyclable parts. Once the parts are inspected one of our inventory staff will tag and locate the parts in our 45,000 square foot warehouse. Any damaged or surplus parts are sold to a core buyer that rebuilds them. The shell of the vehicle is placed in a row along with other vehicles of the same kind. |
